How do you describe the indescribable? If all the seas turned ink, all the plant to writing tools, and all the sky to parchment, it would not be enough to describe God's vastness. That's the God I serve.
If you're interested in learning more about God, you can leave a message here, you could go to this site and leave a message or you can read on.
God loves you (John 3:16).
God is holy and just. He punishes all evil and expels it from his presence (Romans 1:18).
God, who created everything, made us for himself to find our purpose in fellowship with him (Colossians 1:16).
But we rebelled and turned away from God (Isaiah 53:6) The result is separation from God (Isaiah 59:2). The penalty is eternal death (Romans 6:23).
God became human in the person of Jesus Christ to restore the broken fellowship (Colossians 1:19-20). Christ lived a perfect life (1 Peter 2:22).
Christ died as a substitute for us by paying the death penalty for our rebellion (Romans 5:8). He arose (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) and is alive today to give us a new life of fellowship with God, now and forever (John 10:10).
I must repent for my rebellion (Matthew 4:17).
I must believe Christ died to provide forgiveness and a new life of fellowship with God (John 1:12)
I must receive Christ as my Savior and Lord with the intent to obey him. I do this in prayer by inviting him into my life (Revelation 3:20).
There is no cost to your salvation comes to you freely (Ephesians 2:8-9).
But it comes at a high cost to God (1 Peter 1:18-19).
Ultimately your response is a life of discipleship (Luke 9:23-24).

Good New Years Resolutions
I've never been much into the new years resolution. I always believed if you wanted to improve on something, decide that instant to do so. Waiting just makes it all that much harder to stop or improve.
But there are some new years resolutions that would help anyone. If your looking to improve on something, try one or more of these!
- Pray more often
- Pray more openly
- Read your Bible more often
- Start reflecting on verses ( memorizing or reading a verse over and over, thinking about it )
- Be a servant towards others ( this doesn't mean being mindless, just being as helpful as possible)
- Read Christian books
- Listen to Christian music
- Talk to other Christians
- Being a leader ( meaning you leave people better off by knowing/talking to you )
Well, if there is something else that I didn't think of, leave it in the comments! I need to work on almost all of those myself. I pray that anyone who wants to accomplish one of these will be able to!

Okay, under normal circumstances, I'm terrible at poems. Was this a pop enduced dillusion? I may never know...
Lord, I love you,
And you love me too!
I know that you will always be there for me,
On this you would agree.
My sins are terrible,
But you must have thought they were bearable.
For me, my sins you bore,
Even though it was quite a chore.
In heaven, I shall see you my King.
Though, I have nothing to bring.
Still, you accept me for who I am,
You think of me as your lamb.
I shall always be grateful,
Even though I was once so hateful.
Thank you Lord, for saving me,
For this I am filled with glee.

Well... people have been asking me what Megiddo means. It is a location. This is what some dictionary on the internet says about it:
Megiddo - place of troops, originally one of the royal cities of the Canaanites (Josh. 12:21), belonged to the tribe of Manasseh (Judg. 1:27), but does not seem to have been fully occupied by the Israelites till the time of Solomon (1 Kings 4:12; 9:15). The valley or plain of Megiddo was part of the plain of Esdraelon, the great battle-field of Palestine. It was here Barak gained a notable victory over Jabin, the king of Hazor, whose general, Sisera, led on the hostile army. Barak rallied the warriors of the northern tribes, and under the encouragement of Deborah (q.v.), the prophetess, attacked the Canaanites in the great plain. The army of Sisera was thrown into complete confusion, and was engulfed in the waters of the Kishon, which had risen and overflowed its banks (Judg. 4:5). Many years after this (B.C. 610), Pharaohnecho II., on his march against the king of Assyria, passed through the plains of Philistia and Sharon; and King Josiah, attempting to bar his progress in the plain of Megiddo, was defeated by the Egyptians. He was wounded in battle, and died as they bore him away in his chariot towards Jerusalem (2 Kings 23:29; 2 Chr. 35:22-24), and all Israel mourned for him. So general and bitter was this mourning that it became a proverb, to which Zechariah (12:11, 12) alludes. Megiddo has been identified with the modern el-Lejjun, at the head of the Kishon, under the north-eastern brow of Carmel, on the south-western edge of the plain of Esdraelon, and 9 miles west of Jezreel. Others identify it with Mujedd'a, 4 miles south-west of Bethshean, but the question of its site is still undetermined.
Megiddo is also the place where the battle at the end of the world will take place ( I'll try
to do a post about this, no promises though...)

Is masturbation a sin? Sorry folks, I'm going to be as blunt as possible on this one! The arguments for this one are numerous on either side for this, so I decided I'd lay down myths that I found on this issue. This is mostly for those who are masturbating with 'a clean mind' implying that they are doing no obvious sin during it ( obvious sin meaning looking at porn, fantasizing, etc. These are sins which should not be done at all. ) I ( being a man ) wrote this to a male audience, but most of this should apply to women too.
Myth: How is masturbation any different from intercourse during marriage?
Intercourse is a gift from God. God wants us to populate the planet. You are NOT populating the planet with masturbation.
Myth: God put in this 'release valve', so why can't I use it?
No, the release valve is nocturnal emissions.
Myth: Dreams during 'wet dreams' are usually what you would call sinful thinking, so isn't it better to do it while you're awake so that your not sinning?
If you sin while your asleep, that means that you still desire to do something like that. Purge your mind of evil thoughts and you will not dream such things.
Myth: How do I know that God does not want me to do it?
What would be the point in nocturnal emissions then? And if God really wanted you to do it, the Bible would say something about it!
If I didn't include some argument, please leave it in the comments. The biggest argument against masturbation is this: When you masturbate, somehow your always thinking of yourself, about how you want those 'high impact' feelings, about how you want to get rid of your errection, etc. This is not putting God first, therefore it is a sin.
This is an issue that I struggled with for many months. It is a hard habbit to break. If you do masturbate, and you read this, I wish you luck!

Well, this post is going to be a story! I have recently been talking to someone ( a person who is an answer to prayers, by the way! ) who has been through more than her share of problems. Talking to her was another eye opener to what goes on in the world.
She saved three kids from a river once, and came down with pneumonia, and now has chronic bronchitis ( nice work on saving the kids by the way! ). She has been a Young Marine, and plans on joining the Marines as a lance corpral.
Her best friend tried to kill her with her own pocket knife, and was stabbed three times in the face and once in the right thigh. A guy that was in the Young Marines raped her. She said that the guy who did that loved Eminem's music. Eminem has a song that he wrote that tells how to rape a young girl ( it is not suprising then, where he got the idea from ).
I always knew that stuff like this happened, but I never talked to a victim, so I always thought that it was a far away problem. I told her that it was a terrible thing that she went through, and I don't know if the guy that did it ever repented his act, but it was a terrible thing for him to do. Men should be the leaders. Most women look up to men as their leaders, and this should not be a responsibility taken lightly from men.
I have done some terrible things myself, things which I don't know if I'll ever forgive myself for. But, on the bright side, I have come out a much better person then I was before because of it. I can love God all the more! I hope this is the same view that the gal from the story above takes.
In conclusion, while I talked to her, she said something really inspiring to me. Here it is: "My sins are a great many, and my skin is cold, my memories are wicked but my touch and heart are warm"
Thank you so much for sharing your story!

You know, I can never get into the 'new year spirit'. I see the new year as just another day. Nothing really changes that wouldn't change every day anyways.
All I know is that we're one year closer to the tribluation...( I'll probably do a post on the tribulation later, but this would be a huge post! ) I can't wait for it, yet it frightens me beyond anything else at the same time.

Who do these voices in my head belong to?
How can you tell when you feel pushed to do something if it is your thought, sent from God, or sent from the Devil?
Well if anyone ever figures out how to tell if something is your thought, tell me. I once wrote in my personal journal, 'Who are we to say that every thought that we have is not from God? Therefore, glorify God with every thought and with every breath.' How do I know that this entry was my idea? I can't say that I 100% know it is my idea.
There usually are some ways to tell what God wants you to do and what the Devil wants you to do. First, does it break any of the Ten Commandments? There are many problems that are harder to discern, though ( i.e. - Is this the women/man God wants me to marry? ). Never rush into anything. The Devil wants to rush you, God is infinitely patient. Not even prayer helps if your rushing into something ( this is because no matter what the result of the prayer, your probably still going to do it ).
Never trust your feelings. These are easily manipulated by the Devil. For years, the Devil had me under the delusion that I was not saved, keeping me in a depressed state where I was constantly worried about the future.
Fleeces ( praying that if the answer to *insert questions* is *insert answer*, then such and such will happen ) won't help either, if your being thrown into a frenzy.
So what do you do if you absolutely need a question answered? Well, that still sounds like your rushing it, if you absolutely need an answer. Be patient, pray every chance you have. Your answer will come... eventually.

I find that other people's defintion of love is astounding. They seem to think that love is a physical attraction ('Oh! It was love at first sight!').
I was talking to my friend Garret the other day. I can't remember exactly what was said, but it was something like this.
Garret said, "I have a new girlfriend. She's really cool."
I said, "Nice, I wish I had a girlfriend..."
Garret said, "Why don't you?"
I replied, "Because the only way I would ever tell a girl that I love her is if I would be willing to marry her and care for her for the rest of my life."
Garret said nastily, "Then you're just wierd."
Love is not a word to be taken lightly and just thrown about at a whim. I promise you that 98% of the 'love at first sights' never last long. After the break-up, we have all these people wandering around saying how they lost all that mattered to them. How can you lose something that you never had unless you stole it? These people sadden me at their 'loss', yet disgust me for thinking that they could have it.
So now that the word love has been disgustingly twisted, what word is there to describe a willingness to do anything for them? Servanthood seems in the area of what I'm looking for, but a relationship should include two servants serving God and eachother, not a master and a servant.

What is a world where children are not being taught about Christ? The parents, though they might not believe, are still bound to morals by the after effects of their belief. Their children however, are bound by nothing.
Is it any wonder why crimes are on the rise at amazing rates? Did you know that overall grades in schools have dropped three grades since prayer was banned?
What binds you to do right when you are but a mere happening of a few atoms colliding? Nothing. Most people who believe this look for one thing from their life only. The thrill of doing something that they know they shouldn't.
I think that people have it all wrong. It isn't the presence of the Devil that effects us the most. It is the absence of God. Some of the things I see people from my school doing are hideous.
I search for a Christian friend my own age, one who is going through or has gone through the same struggles, but my search does not avail me. I look to my school and I see a swarm of spiders, all searching for some blood to suck, someone to bite.
I have seen too many people that say that they're Christian and show not even the slightest hint of it in their life. I promise you, our days here on Earth are shorter than we know.

Media... What effect does it have on us? What does it matter if we watch the news? Why should I care if I watch a gory movie as long as I realize that it is just a movie and not real?
Media has a huge impact on society, most people just don't realize it. The news is filled with murders, rapes, vandalism, etc, etc. All of this slowly errodes our 'walls of morals', meaning that our chance of doing such a thing increases. I mean, it is what everyone's doing isn't it? This is the same thing that got so many addicted to smoking.
You might say, "So what not watching the media is simply lying to yourself about what the world is really like!" I agree with this whole heartedly, but when you think of all that is bad in the world, try to find the good things in it too! That way, you're more likely to do what is right.
So... what about movies? Same thing applies here. There are some really good movies out there, but usually they're poor quality and looked down upon by society. Everyone likes the movies where you can see the blood splatter.
Well, what I'm trying to say is that the old saying, 'what goes in, comes out' is more accurate than most people would like to think.
If you think that I have this one nailed, you'd be wrong. I struggle with what to watch and what not to watch. Lately, I just try to avoid movies all together and watch cartoons. Cartoons still aren't that good, but they make a good alternative.
